Well...where to start. My name is Rebecca, I'm 27 years old, and I live in a small town called Fox Creek, Alberta, Canada. I have struggled with weight my whole life...it sucks :( At my heaviest, I weighed 330lbs. Last year, I lost about 100lbs, but in a very unhealthy way, not eating...or barely eating. I was happy I lost weight, and was beginning to be happy with my appearance, although I still wanted to loose more, however, we ended up moving to Alberta and I was eating, but not healthy foods and my weight started going back up. I used to wear a size 24 pants, when I lost weight, I fit into a 16, now I still wear a 16, but its tight, and I'm more comfortable in a 18. I don't know my weight right now, as I need to buy a scale, but I want to loose about 60lbs.
Today is day 4 of my new diet, I bought hydroxycut, as well as slim fast shakes. Right now we don't have our own place to live, so it is extremely hard to make healthy food as we have no where to put groceries, so I'm just starting out with taking the hydroxycut, and the shakes. The first 3 days, I took 1 hydroxycut an hour before I eat breakfast, I find it gives me a lot of energy, which also helps with my night shifts at work :) for my lunch I have a slim fast shake and then 1 more hydroxycut an hour before I eat supper. My food is still not the healthy choices, but I have cut back ALOT.
Before, my boyfriend and I would eat whatever we wanted, we would buy a bag of chips (or 2) with dip and eat it all in one sitting...I haven't had chips and dip now for about 2 weeks. I have also stopped drinking pop, I drink a lot of tea, water and juices. As well as cut back my portions of food I do eat.
Since today is day 4 of my diet, I now take 2 hydroxycut an hour before breakfast...since I work nights, my breakfast usually isn't breakfast foods as you will see. Today I had a half a slice of ham and garden salad with no dressing, and green tea.
I work at a hotel, and we constantly have treats and goodies around...it is so tempting, but I have to control myself, Today I came into work and there are rocky road brownies and some other type of cake. After I ate my ham and salad, I cut the rocky road brownie into four and I only ate one piece...I was proud of myself. :)
Depending on how I feel, I might have a snack in a few hours, but I find that the hydroxycut also help with not feeling hungry, so if I don't snack, I will just have my slim fast shake.
I don't do a whole lot of exercise right now, but I am trying. I sometimes walk to work, or walk home and that takes about 45 minutes, and I'm walking a pretty good speed, while I'm at work, I take 30 minutes out of my night and I do sit-ups, crunches, push-ups, a little yoga, jumping jacks and stretching. Its still really hard right now, but I'm hoping it will get easier.
So this is the start of my blog, I'll try and post every day about my progress, and include pictures, as well as every month post pictures of myself and hopefully I will notice a difference in my weight and my body :)
